For decades, New York's Penn Station has represented both the extraordinary importance - and the extraordinary challenges - of the United States' transportation infrastructure. Today, one of the nation's most ambitious infrastructure programs is underway to transform the busiest rail hub in North America into a world-class gateway for millions of passengers. Led by Amtrak, in partnership with public agencies and industry leaders, the Penn Station Transformation is far more than a station renovation. It is a once-in-a-generation effort to modernize critical infrastructure while maintaining continuous operations, improving passenger experience, increasing rail capacity, and reshaping the future of intercity and regional transportation. 

We are pleased to announce that Andy Byford, Special Advisor to the Amtrak Board of Directors and Project Executive, will serve as the keynote speaker for this timely discussion on the future of one of New York City’s most significant transportation hubs.
